Cosima, our woodpecker door knocker, takes its name from the Greek word for ‘order’, a fitting name for this considered design. Inspired by the woodpeckers in the woodland around our Devon studio, this design reflects our belief that beautiful objects can also be functional, as seen across our collection of unique door knockers.
The form has been carefully refined to feel balanced in the hand, with finely detailed feathers and a smooth, tactile finish. A specially designed bracket ensures the beak does not touch the door, no matter how firmly it is used.
